Also referred to as Neurofunctional Acupuncture because it is rooted on current concepts of neurophysiology, neuroanatomy, and pathophysiology.

Contemporary Medical Acupuncture is a precise peripheral nerve stimulation technique, in which fine solid needles are inserted and stimulated with or without electricity for the therapeutic purpose of modulating abnormal activity of the nervous, endocrine, exocrine and immune systems. Only single use disposable sterile needles are used. With this treatment, the therapist will use the combination of massage with acupuncture.

At Panacea Massage Therapy, Acupuncture performed by a Registered Massage Therapist is performed within the scope of Massage Therapy practice. A Massage + Acupuncture treatment will be billed as a Massage Therapy treatment.

Naturopathic Acupuncture

Acupuncture performed by a licensed naturopathic doctor combines the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a modern understanding of holistic health. Treatments are tailored to support your unique health needs, promoting both physical and emotional well-being.

Acupuncture Treatment Protocol is designed for returning Naturopathic patients as a part of a comprehensive approach to wellness that addresses a wide range of concerns including but not limited to pain, stress, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues and more.

At Panacea Massage Therapy, Naturopathic Acupuncture is performed within the scope of Naturopathic Medicine. These treatments will be billed as a Naturopathic Medicine treatment.

Cancellation Policy

We have a 12 hour cancellation policy for all Registered Massage Therapy appointments and a 48 hour policy for all Naturopathic Medicine/Acupuncture appointments.

Late cancellations or rescheduling without enough notice are subject to:

Grace Cancellation: One free late cancellation per year.
Second Late Cancellation/No-Show: 50% of the session fee.
Third Late Cancellation/No-Show: 100% of the session fee.

If you need to cancel an appointment, you can do so from your account online, by calling us during business hours or by email to info@panaceamassage.ca (especially if you are cancelling outside of business hours).

If you do not show up 15 minutes after your appointment start time, your appointment will be forfeited. You will be charged the cancellation fee and we reserve the right to give this appointment time away to someone else.
